Cocina Fuentes: Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Monroe, GA

Today was my first time eating at this Mexican restaurant and the food was very tasty and seasoned well. I was shocked because I had eaten at a lot of other Mexican places where the food was bland with no taste. I ordered the beef enchilada just to see if the food was good A++ I most definitely will be back soon.

Very friendly and good food overall. This place gets VERY busy on Friday and Saturday nights, but they usually seat you quickly.

Always ready to seat you, always swift service. The food is just right. Not gourmet but pretty great and just what you need when you have the itch for Mexican. Best Mex in Monroe. The combo fajitas--chicken, steak, shrimp--is reasonably priced, tasty, and hard to finish.

Just moved here from Alpharetta and we were very impressed. You can tell it's a local favorite and the staff did a good job. Even though they were busy with the church crowd the food was quick and delicious. It's a star Mexican place for the area and you can tell from their high ratings.

Love trying places I haven't been to before. My visit here didn't start well. Upon entering, there's a sign that says they just started a 4% fee for card transactions. I hate when businesses do that. We decided to give the place a try anyway. Drinks were blah. Service was pretty good, though. Food was better. It's worth returning to if they remove the card fee. Otherwise they will probably be losing customers.

We came in on a Thursday night based on the great reviews. We were quickly greeted and seated in a booth. Our server came over immediately and brought a chair since there were five of us, and he thought that might be more comfortable. We all ordered different kinds of margaritas and thoroughly enjoyed them. The place was very busy and it looked like there was a decent bar crowd also. In spite of how busy they were our food came out very quickly. I had a chicken dish with spinach and mushrooms on it and it was very tasty. Everyone at the table enjoyed what they ordered. I would definitely come back again. Great service and the food came out quickly and was tasty. Excellent margaritas. What more could you want?
